Guidelines for Submitting Manuscripts
Manuscripts can be submitted as attachments in Word format electronically online by website: www.iase.ecnu.edu.cn.
Manuscripts are accepted for consideration that they are original, not been published or offered for publication.
The Journal will accept papers written in English or Chinese. Contributors should be aware that the Journal is intended for an international and Chinese audience, and national colloquialisms and idiomatic use of language should be avoided. Terms used for local contexts should be clearly explained.
Manuscripts must be typed (using Times New Roman font size 12) on one side of an 8 by 11 inch or A4 page only, and double-spaced with 1.5 inch or 5 cm margins. Total length of the manuscript, including illustrations, tables, figures, and charts, giving word number equivalents, should normally be of the order of 30000 to 50000 words. Footnotes to the text and reference at the end of manuscript.
Authors should use the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (4th ed., 1994) as a guide for preparing manuscripts for submission.
The title page should carry the title, the authors' names and affiliations and correspondence addresses.
All manuscripts must include an abstract (English & Chinese) containing a maximum number of 150 words.
Contributors should provide full postal address, telephone and fax numbers as well as e-mail address to facilitate communication. For joint authorship, the first author would be the contact person.
Manuscripts will receive two to three blind reviewers; the review process normally takes three months to conclude.
The editors reserve the right to edit manuscripts. Contributors will be contacted if substantial revision is recommended.
