Abstract��Liang Qichao saw the opportunities for young people to surpass forefathers in the perspective of West study, especially in the view of the scientific knowledge. He put forward “On Our Young China” that lead young people to self-reliance with the pursuit of national prosperity. However attention was also placed on that old people asked their descendant to take opium in order to control them, young people took opium at the cost of their family and spouse. Liang Qichao, in his later years, re-emphasized the virtue and reconstructed the view of knowledge.
