Educational Policies and Development of the Open Door in Shanghai: 1978-1998

Abstract The report mainly investigated and researched on educational policies and development of the open door in Shanghai. The report firstly considers the open door and internationalization in education as an interactive relationship between globalization and localization, and a collaborative dialogue in multiple culture and jointly development. Then it expends educational development of the open door in Shanghai to two sections: historical review, and reflection on development. Through analysis and investigation in features of different developmental periods in shanghai, there is an attempt to bring to light the roles and developmental trends in international exchanging.
